Art and Integration

 Art is the International visual image which can be understood by people of various cultures and backgrounds. It may be interpreted in different ways, but the image is there. The human figure is universal, sensations and feelings suggested by the image are comprehended and the language of art speaks to all. In my paintings, related to the human figure, I aim to create a dialogue on the surface of the canvas between the painted and the unique canvas areas. The resulting image in turn, becomes a dialogue between the artist and the spectator, whatever his cultural or national background may be. This integrates the artist, who conceives the ideas, with those who perceive them.
